To give a brief explanation of my nickname, my boyfriend put several of my qualities together and realised that I (somehow) was like the Wren bird:
I'm not so tall
I'm a brunette
I like to sing
I'm very motherly...
Since that day it's stuck and - seems as we both have an interest in Japanese - I've become known as 'Wren chan'.
Interesting story, huh.
